Editor's Review:

RadAdmin provides easy-use remote control for individuals and businesses alike. You can gain control over multiple machines at once, switching between screens, whilst talking customers or co-workers through what you’re doing over a mic. You can even access machines which are turned off, using Active Management Technology.

This all makes for quite a powerful (dare we say Rad-ical) package. Essentially you can really control what’s happening on other machines, rather than just witnessing what they’re doing. It’s fully compatible with Windows 8, although does seem to be lacking when it comes to being installed on other operating systems.

You can purchase licenses for single computers, or in packs of 50, 100 or 150. If you need more, you’ll need to contact the sales team to discuss prices. Large purchases make for a very cheap option on a machine-by-machine basis, particularly since it’s a one-time fee.

Several features seem to focus on ease of use, meaning that this software is suitable for companies which want a remote access system without having to hire a network specialist to help them out. Once you’ve signed up you’ll also receive technical support, should you need it.

We were pleased to see text and voice chat options, as these allow you to talk to a client or colleague as you control their machine. In fact, you could control several machines at once, talking each person through each exact action you make – which they can see on their end.

We were also happy that Radmin offers tools to help with low bandwidth systems, so you can even run a smooth operation if the client’s internet access is limited. They purport to offer one of the fastest systems around, which is pretty impressive.

The user interface will be familiar to Windows users (which is handy since it is fully compatible with Windows 8), so we don’t think users should encounter too many teething problems.

If you’re a Mac or Linux user, sorry – this just isn’t for you. However if you’re used to Windows operating systems, you should feel at home with Radmin.com. Because its prices are for life-time licenses, Radmin also offers really good value for money, especially given the extra features you can access. This is a practical tool for people and businesses who want quick access to other computers. With a 30 day free trial, we think it’s definitely worth a shot.
