Security is very well implemented in PCNow and all the necessary procedures are in place to keep your computer safe from intruders. As standard, all communications between computers are encrypted using 128-bit SSL which is the leading technique for internet transfers. A password is required to access the main PCNow account and then separate passwords are required for each of the computers you have access to. As a third level of authentication you can also set the service up so that it will call a designated phone number whenever someone tries to access the remote computer and you will have to put in a secret passcode using phone's keypad. This is something that many products don't offer so it may swing the deal if security is a big consideration in your requirements.
