We have used Bomgar for about 7 years. Excellent product. The best enterprise product available. If you look at the rating by No1Reviews, you will see the first 3 categories Compatibility/Access Methods, Security, and Features all rate 5 stars. It is the only business product to do so - GoToMyPC is not a business product. These three are the most important in my opinion. You are buying the software for those three, period. The rating should be top in all categories when comparing it to business products. That is the problem here. Grouping home, home/business, and true enterprise systems in the same review, does a disservice and is completely misleading. If you are going to use this for personal, or for a one or two person office, this is the wrong solution for you. If you want a robust business system, this is your baby.

Ease of use: Because of the extensive feature set, ease of use takes a hit, but not much. We don't find a problem here at all. In fact we love the user interface - but we are software developers supporting many customers of our ERP system. You see remote computers tabbed, in groups. You can leave active remote sessions as tabs in the main window or uncouple into their own separate windows.

Ease of joining: Only 3 stars? Sorry No1Reviews, but you must be comparing this with home systems. Bomgar gives three options here. 1) Have user go to your site and enter a session key, or 2) you can access PC unattended (without user present - as long as they have given permission to set up environment like this). You simply click on the PC in a grouped list, or 3) you can deploy a Bomgar button which permits user to simply click a desktop icon. All are very simple and straight forward. I think the issue here is that Bomgar is appliance based. In that respect, you do have to set up your appliance before you can begin using the product. Again - this is not a home user's support system. Strictly business only.

Customer Support: We have always had our issues resolved quickly with US people. I cannot find anything to complain about here.

Value for Money: Bomgar is very cost effective - but only for business. On the surface, it appears it would not compete with the unlimited license model some have. But it does. You have to buy those all over again if you want to stay on their current version (albeit at a reduced rate). Your Bomgar initial purchase is higher than others because of the cost of the appliance. After the first year, a license of 20 users or so is extremely competitive. Everything is priced by support rep license. There is no limitation to the number of servers or PC's you can support. This is big. Additionally, Bomgar comes with a full presentation system which we use extensively to give demos of our software product. That is extra in other systems, or non existant. Bomgar also automatically records each session for later playback. For training and security, this is a must.

What don't we like? Not much. Would we buy it again? No question. What feature would we like to see? We would love remote printing. Some others have it and it would be a big addition for us.

In summary, I would recommend Bomgar to a friend.
