Team Viewer started out as good product. As time has gone on, their developers have made the product so difficult to use that it has sometimes become useless. One of the issues is that one version is not compatible with another. So if you are trying to support someone and they have version 12 and you are on 14, the product will not communicate. The other issue is the limited number of support people that can be on at a time. Another issue is trying to get the right version to your end users through the download. More often than not, you will end up with the free version, even though you have paid for their product. They just have not made it easy to support end users. They constantly want you to download the latest version, even though they know that their product is not backward compatible. Their support answer to everything is purchase the latest version. It has just become hoop after hoop just to get their product to work. Our support team is just tired of the hoops and like any company we just want a quick and easy solution to support our end users. We have given up and are looking for other product options. In my research, there appears to be a mass exodus of people moving away from Team Viewer. There are more players in this market now and solutions that seem to do a better job and provide better ease of use. In my opinion, Team Viewer have basically shot themselves in the foot due to their own greed and addition of so much confusion in using their product. Even their own tech support people seem to be lost at times.

In summary, I would not recommend Team Viewer to a friend.
