We had a subscription with LogMeIn Pro for YEARS. But each year the price escalated exponentially. Sadly, LogMeIn priced themselves out of being affordable. While the price went up so much each year, I reviewed alternatives each year. Finally we switched to Splashtop around a year ago. We are very, very pleased with Splashtop. Since the pricing is sane, we are able to afford to create a separate user account for each user. (Under LogMeIn everyone used the one Admin account.)

The major features we need in addition to remote control are: remote printing and remote file exchange.
Splashtop also offers a free mobile app client which I think is superior to LogMeIn Pro. Another nice feature is the chat box feature.

LogMeIn would have been over $1500. this year if we had stayed with them. With Splashtop, we have 4 users at only $60 each/year. What difference.

We are very pleased with Splashtop, both for functionality and for pricing.

In summary, I would recommend SplashTop to a friend.
